A Farm Table Prayer

Good and gracious God,

Before us is the fruit of many partnerships.

The soil partnered with the rain.
The rain partnered with the sun.
The farmer partnered with the land.
The animals partnered with the pasture.

And now all those gifts have gathered at this table.

Keep us mindful that every meal is a miracle hidden in plain sight.

Teach us to waste little,
share freely,
work honestly,
and live gratefully.

May this food nourish us,
and may our lives nourish others.

Amen.
