Carnival Cherry Apple Butter

(Texas Regional State Fair Blue Ribbon winner 2021)

            This apple butter was fashioned after the candy apples on a stick that made the East Texas State Fair the longed for experience of every fall.  The cinnamon flavor and the healthy portion of pitted cherries along with a secret ingredient that is every kids favorite (cherry jello) makes this butter a favorite no matter the season of the year.  The dark red color is delightful, and the cinnamon gives it a little “heat to the tongue”, but kids love it too. ~Picklin’ Parson
