Incredible Pear Butter

            This pear butter was named after Sam Rachal who loves it, and who is incredible.  Pears have a natural floral flavor.  The recipe is meant to enhance that aspect of the fruit with the addition of elderflower liqueur. The vanilla bean paste, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg all bring out the special quality of this award winner.  Everybody who tastes it is amazed, but none more than Sam.  A touch of all-natural vegetable food coloring brings an orange tint out that is pleasing to the sight.   ~Picklin’ Parson
